Location, location, location

  • Centrally located in Illinois, Bloomington-Normal is a twin-city community of about 125,000.
  • Chicago, St. Louis, Indianapolis, Rockford, and the Quad Cities are all less than three hours away by car.
  • Charter bus service is available from the Bone Student Center to Chicago and many other destinations throughout the Midwest.
  • Local bus service, free with student ID, gets students around campus and Bloomington-Normal including NiteRide, which runs until 1 a.m. each day.
  • Just blocks from campus, the Amtrak station provides daily service to Chicago and St. Louis.
