Paying the Enrollment Deposit

Once you've been accepted and made the decision to attend Illinois State, you must reserve your place in our freshman class by paying your Enrollment Deposit. The deposit confirms you will be here for the fall term and guarantees you a space in the freshman class.

Enrollment deposits are due May 1. Deposits received after the deadline are accepted only if space is available in the freshman class which means you may not be able to enroll in the fall if you do not pay your deposit by May 1.

The enrollment deposit is a non-refundable $150 payment. Fifty dollars confirms your enrollment as a tuition down payment which is applied to your first tuition bill. The remaining $100 covers the cost of Preview, the summer orientation program required for first-year students.

Once you are admitted, you may log in to Welcome2ISU to pay your enrollment deposit with a credit or debit card.
