Freshman Information Nights
Get all of the information you need as an admitted student to attend Illinois State 
University at a location near you. The Office of Admissions hosts Freshman Information Nights in several places throughout the state in January and February. Invitations are mailed (beginning in January) to admitted high school seniors who will be freshmen in the fall.
Meet our students. Hear their stories.
During the sessions, admissions staff members walk you through the process of becoming a Redbird and current students share their Illinois State experiences with you. Bring the acceptance packet you received when you were admitted and come prepared with your questions, such as:
- What will my classes be like?
- What is life like as a college student?
- What is it like living in the residence halls?
Decide with confidence.
The goal for Freshman Information Night is to give you the information you need to make sure Illinois State is the right place for you. If you're already sure you want to attend, you'll learn the remaining steps to complete your enrollment.
