Once You're Admitted

You have some important steps ahead of you to prepare for your enrollment at Illinois State.

  • Contact your graduate program coordinator. Your coordinator’s contact information was provided to you in your letter of acceptance. You may also find this information in our graduate program pages. Your coordinator will assist you in selecting the appropriate course schedule for your upcoming enrollment.
  • Activate your University Logon ID (ULID) at IllinoisState.edu/ulid. You will need your ULID and your University Identification (UID) Number to register for courses. Your UID is a nine-digit number that was assigned to you when you applied for admission. You can retrieve this number by logging into Welcome2ISU.
  • Register online for your courses. You can find online registration instructions at www.Registrar.ilstu.edu.
  • Complete the Graduate Student Orientation online. This orientation and the Graduate School will serve as a resource for you on other important topics related to being a graduate student at Illinois State University.
