Your Final Steps

Before you complete your transfer and start studying at Illinois State, you must send us some official documents.

Finalize your admission file

Send your final college transcript(s) to the Office of Admissions before classes start. If you’ve earned an A.A. or A.S. degree, make sure it is posted on your final transcript.

Please send your transcripts to:

Illinois State University
Office of Admissions
Campus Box 2200
Normal, IL 61790-2200

Submit your health records

All students must have a health history and immunization form on file with Student Health Services by the 15th day of classes. If you don’t, you will be charged a $25 fee and you won’t be able to register for courses the next semester.

Your doctor or a public health clinic staff member must certify that you are immune to:

  • tetanus/diphtheria (T/D),
  • measles,
  • mumps, and
  • rubella.

Move in and Attend Passages Welcome Weekend

All new students come to campus a few days before classes start. That gives you time to get settled into your new place, get acquainted with campus, buy your books, and participate in Passages Welcome Weekend activities.

During Passages, you will get to know other new students and learn about the many opportunities on campus. Catch a movie on the quad, eat breakfast at midnight, and attend a special transfer session. Passages is a great way to get more comfortable on campus.
