Student Life

The average student spends 12-15 hours in the classroom each week. That leaves plenty of time outside the classroom to build your leadership skills, meet new people, and have some fun. You can join student organizations, cheer on Illinois State University's athletic teams, or support the fine arts community by attending exhibits at the University Galleries or shows at the Westhoff Theatre.

At Illinois State University, nothing is more than a ten minute walk away, including different places to eat on campus, the Student Fitness Center, and many locations within the Bloomington-Normal community. You will be able to find quiet places to study in and around campus, but also a variety of fun things to do in your free time.
