Top students from Texas can qualify for lower in-state tuition rates—saving you about $11,000 per year—and the Honors Program. Every student’s tuition is locked in for at least four years.

Texas Ties

Travel is easy. We’re located near Central Illinois Regional Airport, with daily nonstop flights to Dallas-Fort Worth. We're steps away from a new Amtrak station—another option for trips home.

Illinois State has nearly 4,000 alumni living in Texas. There are active alumni networks in Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston, which provide local programming and professional networking.

Central Illinois is home to several national companies, including State Farm, which has a main branch in Texas.
